● Go to www.sdccc.co.uk
● Click on the ‘Show’ tab
● Scroll down and click on the link ‘CLICK HERE to download the entry form for traders and autojumblers’, which will download the traders/autojumblers entry form.
The stand charge is £3 per foot of frontage or £60 for 30 feet.
Please note that this form should not be used for food and soft drink vendors of any type, because we have an existing arrangement with a local company for all our food and soft drink vending requirements.
Are there entry deadlines?
Yes: entries for both vehicle exhibitors and traders/autojumblers must be submitted by 28TH MARCH 2025
However, if we get to a position where we have insufficient room we will have to reject your entry, in which case your entry fee will be refunded in full.
Can I just turn up on the day of the show and enter my vehicle?
No, this will not be possible, mainly because of the risk of causing significant delays to getting vehicles onto the showfield.
What do I do if I can’t get the online entry and payment process to work?
The online process has been thoroughly tested and many people are using it successfully. However, it may not work or be suitable for everyone and therefore you can still enter using a manual entry form and pay by cheque:
● Go to www.sdccc.co.uk
● Click on the ‘Show’ tab
● Scroll down and click on ‘CLICK HERE for entry details for vehicles’.
● Read the ‘Conditions of entry’ and other information, and scroll down to ‘How to enter your vehicle (for both individuals and clubs)’
● Download the form under ‘Option b’, print it, complete the details, and post it with your cheque (if paying by cheque) and stamped, self-addressed envelope to the address on the form.
Why can’t I pay my vehicle entry fee by debit/credit card this year?
We experimented with debit/credit card payment for vehicle entries in 2023. While that was broadly successful, it was only used by a minority of entrants, the Club incurred additional bank charges and there were difficulties integrating the process into the Club’s existing website. We have therefore decided not to offer that facility this year. However, you can still enter online and pay by direct bank transfer (see ’How do I enter my vehicle into the annual show?’ at the top of this page).
Why are you charging £5 for each classic vehicle?
The past few years have been very challenging for everyone, and that includes on the finances of small organisations such as ours, which have been hit significantly. The costs of running the car show are considerable and we are always at the mercy of the weather. If the weather on the day of the show is very bad, that can result in a show being cancelled and therefore there being no income from public attendees to cover the costs. Consequently, we now ask vehicle entrants to make a small, non refundable contribution of £5 each to the costs of putting on the show and to the funds the show raises for charities. This will allow admittance of your classic vehicle and up to two people. We hope you will understand the need for this small charge and recognise that it represents great value for money.
If the show is cancelled will my entry fee be refunded?
No, entry fees are not refundable. The costs of running the car show are considerable and we are always at the mercy of the weather. If the weather on the day of the show is very bad, that can result in a show being cancelled and therefore there being no income from public attendees to cover the costs. Consequently, all entry fees are non-refundable.
