ALL AGES, MAKES AND TYPES ARE WELCOME

The 2024 show on 12th May 2024

A huge thank you to everyone who made the 2024 show such a success.  The attendance of vehicle exhibitors, traders, autojumblers and, of course, the general public, couple of with support from a range of organisations, including Stirling Council, means that we will again be able to provide valuable support to local charities.

The Best in Show Prize was awarded to David Millar with his gorgeous Volvo 1800S.  And the Provost’s Choice (which is selected by the Provost from the cars entered by SDCCC’s own members) was presented to Max Lourie for his beautifully restored Alvis TA21 DHC.

Many other photos and videos of the 2024 have been posted online, a good number of which can be found on our Facebook page (search for ‘Stirling and District Classic Car Club’ on Facebook).

History of the Annual Show

The club was formed in 2000 and our first show for charity took place in 2005. There has been a show in May each year until 2020 and 2021, these being cancelled due to COVID.

All our shows have been staged at the Strathallan Games Park, Bridge of Allan and have been an ever-growing event since inception. The 2023 show had over 700 vehicles registered to attend which included 47 different car clubs.

To date the club have donated show proceeds totalling over £110,000 to 53 local charities, a random sample are listed below.  Some of the names you will recognise, some you won't. These will probably be the smaller local charities that totally rely on donations from local people and organisations like our club.
